Dr. Laurie Bassi
Dr. Laurie Bassi is the CEO and a co-founder of McBassi & Company. Laurie is one of the world’s leading authorities on the emerging “decision-science” of human capital management—the processes and practices within an organization that align the management and development of employees with its business results. She loves working with clients to help them improve organizational performance through targeted, effective strategies for managing and developing their people.
She has overseen the development of the McBassi People Index®, a powerful tool for pinpointing and improving the unique people-related drivers of an organization’s business results. Laurie has authored over 80 published papers and books, and is a sought-after speaker both domestically and internationally.
She holds a Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University, a M.S. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University, and a B.S. in mathematics from Illinois State University.
Justin Hobday
Justin Hobday is the Director at Carmichael Fisher, our UK-based search partner. Justin has extensive European search experience working for many of the world’s blue-chip companies. Over the years he has developed an impressive track record for getting tough search assignments done quickly and efficiently. Justin shares the same operating philosophy and customer focused approach as JLRpartner’s executive search practice. We collaborate on global searches in such a way that we provide a seamless experience for the customer.
Prior to joining Carmichael Fisher, Justin spent 15 years at London-based Harvey Nash.
Paul Hainsworth
Paul Hainsworth is the COO of Lean Horizons. Paul has over 30 years experience advising companies on strategically deployed process transformations to deliver sustained profit and asset performance improvements.
Prior to Lean Horizons Consulting, Paul was a Partner at Accenture and, President of the Institute of Management Resources. Paul has been in “C-Level” roles at a major firearms company and a global software firm. Paul was an early pioneer in the introduction of Lean to the manufacturing industry in the US and now focuses on helping companies across many industries achieve competitive advantage through enterprise-wide operational excellence in their global supply chains.
Paul graduated from University in Cambridge England and has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
